Sneeze the Day

Vinyl siding is being removed and more of the back porch is coming off. 

The only work done to this house, other than to add walls to make room for all the kids was: lowered ceilings in the kitchen and dining room to help with heating and cooling, before heat and air were installed; window units were put in & then central heat and air were installed, eventually converting to a gas pack; vinyl siding was done, new windows were installed and a new roof was put on. Electric was upgraded around 20 years ago. Nothing else has ever been touched, until now.

At this point, there were naysayers. You know, those people who thought me & the crew were crazy for not tossing in the towel. Ain’t nobody gonna rain on my parade! 

Sasha- one of my from stray to diva farm cats, escorting me through my house like she owns it. I think that she was staying beneath the house before we found her. She sure knows her way around, to have never been inside.

Tammy was my dad’s sister, who died at 28 years old, from MS. I can actually pass for her twin. There were many times my Grandaddy would look at me and accidentally call me Tammy. Grandaddy’s whole world changed when she passed away and my parents have always said if it weren’t for me, he wouldn’t have made it. I really was his best buddy. There’s that one time he told me all his secrets! (Nothing bad, just teenage and young adult stuff, but man was it great! Nope, not sharing!)

 Every time I would walk around the house, in this state, I would come out sneezing and I can’t sneeze just once. It’s got to be at least 7-8 times. It annoys the mess out of my dad. I went in every day, for progress pics and to lay eyes on what was going on. I sneezed A LOT during this Reno!
