The First Big Noticeable Change

New roof is on- this half of the house, anyway & I’m liking the new roofline 

Here’s the first big noticeable change- new entrance, 1 less bedroom window, 3 less pantry windows & the pantry itself is a monster. Y’all just remember I bake like MawMaw used to bake and I leave that fancy decorating to the professionals. 

Now, there’s new roof over the spare bedroom and bathroom. Thankfully, it was decided that an  “open air sh*##er” wouldn’t be necessary! 😂 

The chimney in the middle of the house- it was discovered to have sprung a leak. Since I closed off the master bedroom fireplace and will be using gas logs, I went with the option of removing the chimney. If I ever want or need to burn wood, I still have the chimney off the living room. I didn’t find that this chimney contributed to the overall look or function of the house, so it was pointless to waste money fixing it.
